About Telemedicine
Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 we are taking precautions to lower the risk of exposure and spreading of the virus. The physicians may decide to carry out primary assessments of patients without having them physically present in the clinic. If a physical examination of the patient is deemed necessary, the patient may be called in for an appointment into the clinic in a well-controlled, highly sanitized and restricted manner.
Phone calls: The physician may call the number you have on file with your medical records. If your number has changed since the time you created your medical file, please let us know so we can update your file accordingly. Please keep your phone nearby as the doctor may need to call you before or after the exact time of the appointment because calls may require different amount of time depending on the case.
Video calls: To book a telehealth appointment please call the office number 250-564-5656. For video calls we are using doxy.me which will allow appoints over a video call. It is a safe, simple and easy to use system that requires no additional software installations. Instructions on how to use may be found here: https://doxy.me/patients and the link to video call with the doctor at our clinic is https://doxy.me/drisrat
